Quickly out of the blocks for an early lead of 3-0, Gold fought back to get within one, but two late goals to Black saw them through for a well-deserved win, and fortifying their position in the top four.
Three goals in the first seven minutes from Easts was too much of a lead for the Labrador BHL1 side to recover from on Saturday. A penalty corner conversion from Joe Reardon saw the home side down 3-1 at half-time, but shortly after the break Easts scored again to lead 4-1.
With 15 minutes remaining Joe Reardon netted his second to provide some hope, but two goals in the last five minutes to Easts saw a final scoreline of 6-2.

The Tigerstix BHL2 side were soundly beaten by competition leaders Easts 7-1.

POSITION VACANT
Due to an impending departure we require a volunteer for the position of Blue Card Registrar. This is not a difficult position however one that needs to be filled.

Jewellery and bobby pins CANNOT be warn on to the turf. Players are continuing to ignore this and GCHA have advised that they will be enforcing no entry to the turf for anyone that continues to do so.
UMPIRES
NO DRINKING prior to umpiring. This is not permitted by GCHA and must be adhered to.
WANTED
Loan of Carpet Cleaner
We require the loan of a carpet cleaning machine to help clean some synthetic carpet.
