The Queensland Government Department of Natural Resources and Water provided our club with a $27,000 grant under it's Lifestyle Waterwise grants program in 2008. This grant was used to install a 98,000 litre tank, associated pipework and pumps to harvest rainfall from our synthetic hockey field for reuse in irrigating the field. The Clubhouse was also retrofitted with water saving devices throughout. These improvements are creating significant savings in the use of potable water by our Club. |

The Queensland Government's Gambling Community benefit Fund provided $22000 to Labrador Hockey Club to install quality backnets for our synthetic field. Labrador Hockey Club is extremely grateful for this contribution which has enabled much needed facilities development. |

The Gold Coast City Council assists the club via divisional allocation to install field irrigation, Equipment Purchase Grants and field maintenance. |
